The Serviced Apartment Company (SACO) asked CompanyX to give their website a makeover. We supplied concepts for the home and interior pages and aimed to make it much easier to find and book a property than before. They're really pleased with the outcome and so are we.

The Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) was struggling to make it's voice heard in a crowded charity market. Despite rabies being eradicated in the UK, it still accounts for over 55,000 deaths a year globally - many of whom are children. Once rabies symptoms appear it is always fatal. CompanyX were set the challenge to increase the likelihood of financial support for the organisation from a wider audience and allow it to continue it's brilliant work fighting against a completely preventable disease.
We commissioned research to establish what the old site was doing well and what existing users believed it could do better. We also asked new target audiences what would motivate them into supporting. CompanyX then designed and developed a far clearer site with strong emphasis on fininacial support. This site is now live.
"This is really exciting" says Debbie Briggs, GARC's Executive Director. "Rabies control is gathering momentum worldwide and we need to move our work forward by attracting and talking to a wider audience"

Shooting has started at the Bottle Yard in Bristol on a new supermarket-set Sky 1 HD sitcom starring Jane Horrocks.
Trollied, helmed by Shameless director Paul Walker, is the latest production to start filming at the Bottle Yard in Hengrove, Bristol’s new dedicated film and TV production facility.
Launched by CompanyX in March, The Bottle Yard is an innovative partnership initiative supported by Bristol City Council and the South West Regional Development Agency, and is managed and promoted by South West Screen. Trollied will focus on the staff of the fictional Valco budget store in Warrington.
An entire supermarket has been built from scratch at the Bottle Yard, containing thousands of products. Horrocks, best known as Bubble from Absolutely Fabulous, will lead the cast, appearing alongside Game of Thrones star Mark Addy, Being Human's Jason Watkins and This Is England actress Chanel Cresswell. Production on Trollied has already started at the Bottle Yard. Filming will continue until June and the series will air on Sky1 HD in July.

COMPANYX
ARE MOVING
Business Development Manager Jo Lee Dean has now joined CompanyX!
We’re pleased to say that after months of looking for the right person to head up our sales team, we think we’ve found her. Jo Lee Dean is now our Business Development Manager and those of you that were kind enough to take part in some recent research we were carrying out, may even have spoken to Jo already. Nice isn’t she?
Outside of work Jo is also part of the finger pickin’ good bluegrass outfit Redhill Billies (as singer) which I’m sure will get regular mentions on this noticeboard.
WELCOME
ABOARD JO
Hello and welcome to our new website. It's finally ready to be unveiled to the outside world. Massive thanks to the developers for doing such a good job (and Ian in particular) and bearing with us with our never ending list of fiddly tweaks. We are designers, what did you expect! Have a look around and a play and hopefully you'll like what you see. If you do, then drop us a line and say hello.
If you see something that is brilliant that you want to share then send it to us and we could put it on the noticeboard (with a name check of course!).
