Brooke AWERB Guidelines for Researchers

 

Project title: Ethical considerations and mitigations for animal healthcare professionals

Brooke asked me to design a logo lock-up for their new welfare initiative Animal Welfare and Ethical Research Body (AWERB) and the accompanying guidelines. I designed the logo utilising the 'B' of Brooke at the end of AWERB to immediately form a visual link between the parent organisation and the initiative.

I wanted the guidelines to feel contemporary, clean and friendly despite large amounts of technical information so I introduced icons that highlighted repeating content areas - 'Red Flags', Questions to consider' and 'Mitigation Measures'.  Some of the excellent photography at Brooke's disposal was used very boldly to signal a break from one section into another.
