Women for Women International

 

Project title: Violence Against Women policy briefs.

Women for Women International (WfWi) commissioned a series of studies in four countries to understand opinions surrounding violence against women (VAW) within communities in Afghanistan, Nigeria, DRC and South Sudan. Each of the five policy briefs I designed (one per country plus one global overview) utilised one of the icons I illustrated for WfWi in the 'Unheard. Unseen' project. As well as individual countries I also created a  global overview document. The subject matter is by its very nature, dark and distressing, so in counter-balance I developed a light, and simple design style.
